History

iMAX Diagnostic Imaging Limited was incorporated in Ireland in November 2011. It was created to leverage the development, manufacture and commercialization of high quality generic contrast agents Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Drug Product.

iMAX Diagnostic Imaging consolidates more than 20 years of experience in the chemistry of iodinated contrast agents with high quality drug product manufacturing, cGMP compliance and regulatory standards. iMAX Diagnostic Imaging manufacturers its contrast agents (API) in China and Drug Product in Europe its established facilities or in manufacturing partners allowing for a competitive advantage on the market.

iMAX has received an European Marketing Authorization for Iohexol Injection 300 mgI/ml and 350 mgI/ml in 50ml; 100mL: 125mL; 150mL; 200mL and 500mL glass vials. It has the EU-CTD dossier available for licensing in different regions of the world.
